Taxforce raises €5M to build Germany's first AI-native tax advisory firm for the medical space

Berlin, 18 February 2026 - Taxforce, a new AI-powered accounting and tax advisory firm, today announced a €5 million seed round led by Tenet. The company is building a new kind of tax advisory firm - one designed from scratch around AI - starting with doctors and medical practices.

A Market in Crisis

Germany’s tax advisory market generates €40 billion in annual revenues, yet the industry is in crisis. Thirty percent of licensed tax advisors are over 60. The number of practitioners has been shrinking since 2022. Supply is so constrained that it is no longer clients choosing their tax advisor; tax advisors are choosing their clients.

For those who do have an advisor, service often falls short. In interviews with over 100 medical practices, Taxforce’s founders found a consistent pattern: financials arriving months late, emails going unanswered, and surprise tax bills of €50,000 or more because nobody adjusted prepayments.

The company is starting with doctors and medical practices - a vertical where the pain is acute and the opportunity to build tailored, technology-enabled services is greatest. From automated sick-pay reimbursement claims to real-time tax liability dashboards, Taxforce aims to deliver the kind of proactive advisory that traditional firms simply cannot offer at scale.

The round was led by Tenet, a Berlin-based investment firm purpose-built for AI-powered market transformations in European professional services.
